1. Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol
Mesa Car Service Corp maintains zero tolerance for a driver's use of, or impairment by, alcohol or drugs while the driver is logged on and available through the MCSC digital network or while providing a prearranged ride. A driver must not log on, remain available, accept a trip, drive toward a rider, or transport a rider while impaired in a manner that makes driving unsafe.
2. How to report suspected impairment
If you reasonably suspect that an MCSC driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol during a ride, report it as soon as possible. If you can access the trip in the MCSC app, open that trip, select Report incident, choose Alcohol / drugs / intoxication, describe what occurred, and submit the report. The report is linked to the trip and available safety evidence is preserved for review.
If you cannot access your account or trip, contact MCSC at info@mesacarservice.com or call (305) 299-8011 (Spanish) or (305) 561-1385 (English). Include, when available, your name and contact information, trip date and approximate time, pickup or destination, and a brief description. Do not send payment-card numbers, passwords, medical records, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
3. Suspension and investigation
When MCSC receives a rider complaint alleging a possible violation of the zero-tolerance policy and the driver can be identified, MCSC will suspend the driver's ability to accept new ride requests through the digital network as soon as possible and for the duration of the investigation. A safety hold is precautionary and does not by itself determine fault. Reinstatement, when appropriate, requires administrative review.
4. Nondiscrimination and accessibility
MCSC does not permit discrimination against riders or potential riders in violation of applicable law. Drivers must comply with MCSC's nondiscrimination policy and applicable federal, state and local requirements. Service may not be denied, degraded or conditioned because of a characteristic protected by applicable law. MCSC does not impose an additional charge on a person because of a physical disability where prohibited by law.
5. Service animals
Service animals are not treated as ordinary pets. MCSC and its drivers accommodate service animals as required by applicable law and do not require certification or documentation as a condition of service. When service-animal status is not apparent, only questions permitted by applicable law may be asked. No pet fee or deposit is imposed solely because a rider uses a service animal. The animal must remain under the handler's control, and lawful safety exceptions may apply.
6. Reporting discrimination, accessibility or service-animal concerns
For a trip visible in the MCSC app, select Report incident and choose Discrimination / accessibility or Service animal issue. If the trip is unavailable or you cannot access your account, use the email or telephone contacts above. MCSC documents and reviews these reports and preserves available trip evidence when applicable.
7. Safety records and privacy
Safety reports may include trip identifiers, reporter information, category, description, timestamps, available location or trip records, and safety evidence associated with the reported incident. Access is restricted to legitimate safety, operational, legal and compliance purposes. Retention and handling are governed by the MCSC Privacy Policy and applicable law.
