1. Service and reservations
Mesa Car Service Corp provides private transportation subject to availability, confirmation, vehicle capacity and service conditions. A request is not guaranteed until confirmed. Accurate passenger, route, contact, flight and service information must be provided.
2. Quotes, authorization and payment
The price and any disclosed service/processing fee are shown before a card reservation is confirmed when automatic pricing is available. Service classes may use different minimum fares, per-mile and per-minute rates, hourly rates, and long-distance adjustments. Diamond and Sprinter hourly categories use a 3-hour minimum under the current pricing structure. A confirmed quote controls the reservation. A card may be preauthorized and the final authorized amount captured when service is completed. Tolls, parking, airport or port charges, approved route changes, waiting, extraordinary cleaning or actual damage may be handled separately when applicable and disclosed. Gratuity is optional.
3. Route changes and traffic
Normal traffic, ordinary congestion, operational rerouting and ordinary road closures do not by themselves create an automatic surcharge to a fixed point-to-point fare. A passenger-requested stop or destination change may require a separate quote and authorization before the change is made.
4. Cancellations and no-shows
The current Reservation & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms. Standard executive service uses a 12/6-hour cancellation structure; Diamond and Sprinter Regular use a 24/12-hour structure; Executive and Jet Sprinter use a 48/24-hour structure when the booked tier is identified; Florida Keys and clearly long-distance trips use 48/24 hours; weddings, special events and multi-vehicle reservations marked as special use a 7-day/48-hour structure. Depending on the timing, the applicable charge may be 0%, 30%, 50% or 100% of the reserved transportation amount. A driver-arrived cancellation or no-show may be charged up to 100%, subject to the current policy and any documented exception MCSC applies.
5. Children and child restraints
Reservations involving minors must be made or managed by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult. Under Florida law, the child-restraint requirements applicable to chauffeur-driven vehicles hired for compensation place compliance responsibility on the parent, guardian, or other person responsible for the child. MCSC strongly recommends an age- and size-appropriate federally approved child restraint. The responsible adult must request any needed child-seat accommodation in advance and must not leave a young child unattended in the vehicle.
6. Pets and service animals
Ordinary pets must be disclosed when booking and are accepted subject to vehicle suitability, safety and reasonable operating conditions. Pets must remain appropriately restrained or in a suitable carrier when needed for safe transport. The passenger is responsible for controlling and caring for the pet and may be responsible for actual damage or extraordinary cleaning caused by the pet.
Service animals accompanying a person with a disability are not treated as pets. MCSC permits service animals as required by applicable law, does not require certification or documentation as a condition of service, and does not impose a pet fee or deposit solely because of a service animal. When the service-animal status is not apparent, staff may ask only the questions permitted by law. The animal must remain under the handler's control. Removal may be requested only where permitted by law, including when the animal is out of control and effective action is not taken or the animal is not housebroken. Actual damage may be charged on the same basis as damage caused by other passengers.
7. Passenger conduct, safety and vehicle care
Passengers must follow lawful safety instructions and may not create an unsafe condition for the driver, passengers, vehicle or public. Smoking, unlawful activity, abusive conduct, or intentional/reckless vehicle damage may result in termination of service where lawful.
8. Safety, zero tolerance and nondiscrimination
MCSC maintains safety, zero-tolerance, nondiscrimination, accessibility and service-animal rules applicable to transportation arranged through its digital network. Riders may report suspected driver impairment, discrimination, accessibility concerns, service-animal issues and other safety incidents through the reporting procedures published in the Safety & Rider Protection page. A rider complaint alleging possible driver alcohol or drug impairment triggers a safety hold that prevents the identified driver from accepting new ride requests while MCSC investigates, consistent with applicable law.
9. Technology and location
The applications may use GPS, maps, notifications, email, SMS and service records for reservations, dispatch, driver assignment, trip tracking, arrival verification, safety and operational functions. Technology can be affected by device, network and third-party availability.
10. Events outside reasonable control
Weather, accidents, emergency activity, extraordinary road closures, flight disruptions and public events may affect service. MCSC will make reasonable efforts to communicate and perform safely. Nothing here limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
11. Updates and contact
Policies may be updated as services, technology or law change. Material changes may require renewed acceptance where appropriate.
